Manufacturing Operative

We are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Operative to join a busy production and warehouse team.

This is a hands-on role working within a dusty manufacturing environment, so candidates must be comfortable wearing full PPE (goggle, face mask, overalls etc.) at all times.

Duties Include:

• Weighing and measuring materials
• General manufacturing and production duties
• Warehouse work and housekeeping
• Manual handling and heavy lifting of 25kg bags
• Following health & safety procedures at all times

Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 8:00am – 5:00pm

Pay:

• £12.71 per hour
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates

Overtime:

Regular overtime is required, including:

• Weekends
• Night shifts
• Holiday cover

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
• Reliable and flexible with overtime requirements
• Strong awareness of health & safety procedures
